I Loved to ride my Bike along the Railroad Tracks

Tuesday, May 4, 2010 - - 0 Comments

I know what you're gonna say...that's dangerous! Well, I was always careful so don't worry about me. I don't ride my bicycle along the tracks anymore. When I was a young 'un, I used to follow the tracks but I rode my bike on the road right next to the tracks. It's the same road used by railroad personnel to check the track line for loose rails or things on the track. I never touched the railroad property. I just enjoyed following for  a long distance and in those days, I believed that if I stayed close enough to the tracks it would lead me to some magical place far away. My curiosity sometimes took me twenty miles away from home and my parents would come looking for me. Ahhh, such fond memories!
